Abstract

The reservoirs of Weixinan and Wushi Sag, Beibuwan Basin, are typical low permeability oil and gas reservoirs, which are in the process of our country’s first offshore large whole flow CCUS-EOR project preliminary Research. Minimum miscible pressure is an important parameter in the study of CO2 injection to improve the recovery and Storage efficiency of low permeability reservoir. Based on the laboratory phase state experiment, the minimum miscible pressure prediction formula suitable for target oil reservoirs was established by means of multistage contact, multi-factor regression analysis, and Winprop, considering crude oil composition and temperature. Compared with the traditional empirical formula, this formula improves the prediction accuracy of the minimum miscible pressure in typical blocks, and provides a simple and reliable calculation method for determining the minimum miscible pressure in field. It provides a new idea for predicting the minimum miscible pressure of CO2 flooding in low permeability reservoir.
